Bethany Szenberg, A.P.R.N.

She is originally from Nashville, TN, where she double majored in Biology and Nursing. She then completed her Master of Science in Pediatric Health Nursing at the University of South Florida in 2016. Bethany worked as a pediatric nurse for more than 3 years at both Vanderbilt Children’s hospital in TN and locally at St Joseph’s Children’s hospital. She has been working as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Tampa Bay Area since 2017. 

Bethany received a National Science Foundation Award for collaboration on a genetic sequencing research project. She also was awarded as a National Medical Fellowship scholar in which she helped provide medical care and education to under-served communities. She established a Global Nursing Committee while serving on the Student Nurses’ Association and succeeded in creating a medical mission trip to under-served communities in Guatemala. Additionally she has published two peer-reviewed articles. 

She is committed to delivering quality care with compassion, empathy, and respect to her patients and their families. She strives to promote health and wellness, prevent illness and injury, and empower children to reach their full potential. 

Bethany is married to her husband Nicolas Szenberg and they have one son, Noah. They also have a “fur-baby” Labrador named Ellie. Bethany is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys all things fitness related. She also enjoys baking and cooking. Her favorite days involve family adventures to the beach early in the morning and hearing her son belly laugh with his dad, affectionately nicknamed “Funny Guy.”
